Judo Techniques
Judo consists primarily of nagewaza (throws), along with katame-waza (grappling), which includes osaekomi-waza (pins), shime-waza (chokes), ashi-waza (leg sweeping) and kansetsu-waza (arm locks). Additional techniques, including atemi-waza (striking) and various joint locks are found in judo katas. All techniques will be taught step by step following the Judo syllabus adopted by Malaysia Judo Federation. Beginners will be taught the very important Break-Falls to ensure safety in later throwing techniques.
